xls2html - Generate an HTML Table from MS Excel SpreadSheet data. OUTPUT = XLS2HTML(FILENAME,OUT)Reads all data from default worksheet in the MicroSoft Excel WorkBook file (*.xls) specified by FILENAME.FILENAME can be a full path, or a filename or path on the MATLAB Path. If FILENAME cannot be found (via the which function), a uigetfile dialog box will appear allowing the user to to select the desired file or cancel. OUTPUT is the raw data (cell matrix) obtained from the specified Excel WorkSheet. OUT is the name or fullpath specifing the file to which the HTML code will be written.Note that merged cells are returned with the value in the first (upper left) cell of the group, and all other cells empty, however the HTML table output displays merged cells as merged via colspan and rowspan attributes.SCREENSHOT: Shows the resulting HTML file in the back left, the source MS Excel file in the back right, and the resulting HTML Code in the foreground.
